2026 TDS Trials

Dates and registration for this year’s TDS 13/U, 14/U and 16/U trials are now open.  

Stay tuned for further information on our 2026 12s squad and Great Southern Championship team.

16/U – Born in 2010 and 2011
Trials: 4th of February 2026, 6:30 – 8pm

14/U – Born in 2012
Trials: 11th February 2026, 6:30 – 8pm and 18th February 6:30 – 8pm

13/U  – Born 2013
Trials: 7th February 2026, 9 – 10:30am and 18th February 6:30 – 8pm

Players are asked to arrive 15 minutes before the scheduled start time.
Please ensure you arrive ready to take the court this includes jewellery removed and nails cut.

Please keep in mind teams will compete in two away meets during the 2026 season:
Perth – Member Championships – May 29th to 1st June 2026
Albany – Great Southern Championships * – 17th – 19th July 2026

*Parents are advised they will need to arrange private transport and accommodation for their child (Albany).

13/U (Born 2013)
The 2026 TDS U13’s team will compete in the ENA Junior 1 competition and at both away meets.
This group is a continuation into the development pathway - focus on fundamental skills, techniques and decision making in a competitive environment.

An athlete's fundamental skills development is prioritised over and above competition outcomes.

Encourage active participation of the key philosophies involved with development - training to train and training to compete.

Athletes encouraged to return to the weekly teams and put into practice the skills they are being taught.

14/U – Born 2012
Continuation into the development pathway - focus on game sense, team structures while utilising fundamental skills, techniques and decision making in a competitive environment.

An athlete's fundamental skills development is prioritised over and above competition outcomes.

Encourage active participation of the key philosophies involved with development - training to train and training to compete.

Athletes encouraged to return to the weekly teams and put into practice the skills they are being taught.

Team to be selected at Development Squad trials and will be required to attend weekly sessions throughout the season.

Team will compete in a Senior division, and each individual athlete will compete in their respective Junior Division 1/2. Please refer to By Law 9.3.2

 Team will compete at Members Championship in June and Great Southern Championships in July.

16/U – Born 2010 and 2011

This group is the final stage of development pathway - focus on game sense, team structures and connectivity with teammates while utilising fundamental skills, techniques and decision making in a competitive environment.

The aim of the final stage is to create athlete readiness to compete in Association division 1 once they leave the program.

Encourage active participation of the key philosophies involved with development - training to train and training to compete with a consistently higher intensity.

Athletes encouraged to return to the weekly teams and put into practice the skills they are being taught.

Team to be selected at Development Squad trials and will be required to attend weekly sessions throughout the season.

Team will compete in a Senior division, and each individual athlete will compete in the Junior division 1.

Team will compete at Members Championship in June and Great Southern Championshipsin July.
