Esperance Netball Association is looking for a New President for the 2025 Season.

The role of president as defined in our bylaws:

1.1.1 PRESIDENT

(1) Attend and preside over meetings of the Association and the Executive

(2) In conjunction with the Executive, administrate current and future planning within the Association

(3) Oversee sponsorship programmes and budgeting in liaison with relevant Executive officials

(4) Form subcommittees and working groups as required in conjunction with the Executive

(5) Represent the Association as a delegate in various areas of the community or delegate these roles to other members of the Executive

(6) Represent the Association at State and Regional levels.

After 9 incredible years leading our association, Fiona is stepping into the Vice President role, making this the perfect opportunity for someone new to take the reins as President! With Fiona’s support and guidance behind you, it’s the ideal time to step in, learn the ropes, and lead us into an exciting 2025 season.

A note from Fiona on the role:

For me personally I love giving back to our netball community. I guess I’ve always done a bit more than the role requires, having wanted to learn as much as possible.However it is a management role and can be done administratively.

There is a lot of admin in there, I like the people management side of the role, working with a team, a bit like being a captain of your netball team - you’re in the trenches with everyone else but you’re also guiding them through.
